MRI

“MRI has excellent contrast, spatial and temporal resolution; however, there are many image acquisition variables involved in MRI, which greatly impact image quality, lesion conspicuity and measurement. The availability of MRI is variable globally. Chest MRI not recommended”

  • Measurements are possible on isotropic reconstructions and non-axial MRI planes:
    • sagittal
    • coronal
    • (oblique)

Also here the key point is consistency. Always measure in the same plane.
